Aerial Camping

We are offering an aerial camping experience incorporating coastal and/or inland flights to a remote private camping location the West of Gympie, with a range of activities on offer to satisfy the adventurer in all of us. Our goal is to provide this unique experience for friends, family, or a combination of both, with an experience where we eliminate all the factors that reduce the time or ability to get out there.

It is what we like to call “removing the dad” from the equation, where so much valuable time is spent organising, packing, shopping and the clean-up afterwards. Instead, we want to provide an all-inclusive experience where everything is provided for, all you have to do is “show up”.

What to expect:

At HELI-EX, we will create a sustainable competitive advantage by building local adventures around the unique natural features (Glass Mountain Waterfall, Fraser Island etc.) in the Gympie region, including locations that can only be reached by helicopter. This allows us to create diversity in our tourism offering and customer experiences which are not easily found.

A hassle-free, back to basics getaway, enjoying a helicopter air safari and express transport to their campsite, prepared and ready for them when they arrive. All they need to do is eat, sleep, and have fun.
An affordable convenience camping experience taking care of the transport themselves and arriving at their campsite without the hassle of setup, pack down and cooking.
Convenient helicopter tour charters from Brisbane to local region tourism sites and to experience the beauty of South-East Queenland’s inland and coastal landmarks from the air. Page 8 of 44 All our customers will have the opportunity to build their own adventures, selecting day ground tour and helicopter experiences in the local region where they can enjoy a range of activities from fishing, horse riding, hiking, quad biking, whale watching, wine and pub tours, and the list goes on.

The perfect location..

Our Glastonbury property located on Glastonbury Creek Road is the perfect location for the best bespoke experience. Mountains delineate the western and southern edges of the region, while coastal plains dominate the east. The region contains several large rivers that discharge into the Pacific Ocean. The South-East Queensland region has a sub-tropical climate influenced by tropical systems from the north and fluctuations in the high-pressure ridge to the south. The average annual temperature is 19°C. Summer average temperature is 24°C, in autumn and spring it is 20°C, and in winter 14°C. It’s perfect all year round.
